About Us

The AAU Lake Erie Track & Field District is a part of the following counties within Ohio: Erie, Huron, Richland, Lorain, Ashland, Geauga, Cuyahoga, Lake, Medina, Summit, Wayne, Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas, Harrison, Jefferson, Carroll, Columbiana, Mahoning, Portage, Trumbull, and Ashtabula.

Our goal is to promote youth (ages 6-22) health, leadership, as well as individual, team and community pride.

High School District Meet Waivers

Any athlete scheduled to take a college entrance exam (SAT/ACT will be waived into the Regional Qualifier by the Regional Qualifier Program Coordinator upon receipt of the proper documentation. Documentation and the request in writing must be received no sooner than Friday, April 17th, 2026, and no later than Monday, June 1st, 2026. Deadline is June 1, 2026 no request will be reviewed after this date. PLEASE FILL OUT THE WAIVER REQUEST FORM

Exam waivers are to be requested at aauwaivers@aausports.org. Please do not send waiver requests to any other e-mail address.

There are NO injury waivers and NO medical waivers.

AAU Lake Erie Mission

Our mission is to assist in community building through youth track and field involvement. Our main goal is to exemplify positive role modeling while encouraging/teaching leadership development, sportsmanship, and pride in one’s self and community.
